Shaping and Managing Company Culture –The New Strategic Imperative

Sponsor: Datamax

In the modern marketplace, companies that focus on their internal culture consistently outperform competitors that leave culture to chance. Intentional cultures attract the best talent, innovate faster and require fewer rules and restrictions.  While the power of culture is evident, many leaders are still stumped when it comes to defining the right culture for the future of their organization, let alone how to create it. Add to this confusion what was once considered a strong culture 10 years ago is different now: Great cultures today are agile, collaborative, innovative and ready for change.

Attention to internal culture is more important than ever due to the growing Millennial workforce, a subset of employees that bring an entirely new mindset to work. Creating a workplace that fits this mindset is not just nice to have, it is critical for success and future opportunities. These people are creative, connected, and purpose-driven. No organization can remain relevant without these employees and the way they see the world.

In this talk, we’ll explore:

  1. The Bottom-Line Impacts of Investing in Culture
  2. Understanding the Millennial Mindset at Work and How to Make the Most of it
  3. How to Assess the Culture You Have Now
  4. The Key Levers that Shape Culture
  5. The Most Important Opportunities for Change in Your Organization’s Culture
  6. Leadership Skills Needed to Understand and Build an Energized Culture
